Role Summary & Mission
The Forward Deployed Partner (FD Partner) is a pivotal role within the Palantir Center of Excellence. Unlike traditional relationship managers, the FD Partner is a senior technical expert who thrives in hands-on development in Palantir Foundry and AIP, while also being capable of presenting strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders. The FD Partner takes ownership of the business relationship, defines the value agenda, and actively participates in delivering impactful solutions.
This role involves leading project teams, driving development on complex use cases, and ensuring adoption and return on investment across their portfolio. The FD Partner is adept in both writing the Ontology and explaining its significance to CFOs, possessing the technical depth necessary to lead FD Delta and FD Echo engineers, challenge delivery methods, and resolve issues within Foundry through demonstrated proficiency.
As this is a Forward Deployed position, travel is required, averaging between 10-30% (2-6 nights per month), with fluctuations depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to and build solutions in Palantir Foundry and AIP, including developing data pipelines, Ontology modeling, Workshop applications, and AIP agent workflows, especially for complex and strategic use cases.
- Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions within the project team, serving as the senior technical advisor when FD Delta engineers require guidance or escalation.
- Maintain a high level of hands-on proficiency in Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Ontology, Workshop, OSDK) and AIP (Agent Studio, Logic, Evals) to facilitate delivery, assess output, and identify quality issues.
