Position Summary:
We are on the lookout for a skilled Project Manager with expertise in forensic engineering or architecture to oversee and facilitate a range of investigative projects. Responsibilities include evaluating structural and building enclosure conditions, conducting damage and deterioration investigations, and devising repair and rehabilitation strategies for existing structures. Projects may involve commercial, residential, industrial, utility infrastructure, and municipal domains.
Candidates must possess strong technical capabilities, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple assignments while engaging directly with clients and team members. Regular local travel and occasional regional travel will be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough investigations and assessments, producing precise technical reports and repair documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects while assisting in project scheduling and coordination.
Aid in the creation of repair designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
Assist senior staff with technical research, report writing, and project execution.
Provide mentorship and guidance to Staff Engineers and Interns as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to climb ladders and scaffolding, access crawl spaces, walk on roofs, and work at heights.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience in forensic engineering or architecture.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
