Join the Focus Ireland Social Care Graduate Programme, a paid, 12-month initiative designed specifically for graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in social care. This program provides a unique chance to work within our impactful projects across Dublin, Limerick, Cork, and the South East region. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with assigned clients.
- Collaborate with key workers to efficiently manage caseloads, including referrals, assessments, and sourcing accommodation.
- Work with supervisors to identify ongoing support needs, develop support plans, and deliver high-quality practical support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external agencies, including mental health and addiction services.
- Assist clients with applications for rent allowance through the Department of Social Protection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, generating reports as needed.
- Contribute actively to team reviews, evaluations, and service development initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and client-focused discussions, including case conferences and reviews.
- Utilize organizational systems to log queries and interventions.
- Engage in training and development activities as part of the graduate program.
- Attend supervision sessions regularly.
- Remain vigilant regarding Health, Safety, and Welfare risks and report concerns to your line manager.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned as part of your role.
