ABOUT ROCKET LAB
Rocket Lab is a pioneering end-to-end space solutions provider, committed to making space more accessible through innovative launch services, comprehensive spacecraft design and manufacturing, and advanced satellite components. Our mission is to support critical global initiatives, from scientific exploration and Earth observation to combating climate change and enhancing national security through cutting-edge technology demonstrations.
Our Electron rocket is the second most frequently launched rocket in the U.S., successfully delivering over 230 satellites to orbit. We are also in the process of developing Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle aimed at facilitating larger constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is responsible for designing and building a wide range of satellites and components, including those selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as parts utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.
As a Fluid Component Intern at Rocket Lab’s Long Beach facility, you will collaborate closely with the Neutron team to source hardware and assist in the initial assembly and testing of components. You will also conduct qualification tests to ensure each component meets all flight requirements. The Fluid Components team is responsible for the design, sourcing, and manufacturing of all fluid components for both Neutron and Archimedes.
