The Opportunity
We are seeking a Float Medical Assistant, also known internally as a One Medical Flex Health Navigator, to join our dedicated team serving our Senior Health member population (age 65+). In this vital role, you will be an essential part of a primary care team that focuses on meeting the preventive, chronic, and acute care needs of our patients. As a Health Navigator, your primary responsibilities will include fostering trusting and collaborative relationships with patients and their families, ensuring a human-centered and empathetic approach to care. Our Flex Health Navigators provide support across multiple offices within a Metropolitan Service Area (MSA).
As a passionate advocate for our patients, you will excel in building strong connections and delivering outstanding service. Your strong communication skills and collaborative spirit will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare outcomes for our patients.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Gathering pertinent health information and healthcare experiences while rooming patients, taking vitals, administering point-of-care testing, and conducting appropriate screening assessments based on age and condition.
