Join Slip Robotics as a proactive and seasoned Field Operations Leader, where you will be instrumental in shaping our field strategies and initiatives to facilitate sustainable growth in automated robotics (including SlipBot and SlipLift) under a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model. You will manage all facets of field operations, such as deployments, maintenance, logistics, compliance, and the establishment of a robust Customer Support function. Your leadership will enhance scalability in field operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, minimizing downtime, and optimizing resource allocation as we expand rapidly in the RaaS sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction across all field functions including service, logistics, compliance, and customer support.
- Strategy Development and Optimization: Craft strategies in alignment with corporate objectives to enhance efficiency; streamline operations and reduce costs employing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Scale operations through remote diagnostics, robust supply chain management, and customer self-service tools to maximize technician efficiency and equipment uptime.
- Team Development: Inspire and cultivate high-performing teams, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Recruit and train personnel to meet increasing deployment demands, integrating field operations, engineering, logistics, and customer support.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership and various departments (R&D, Sales, Marketing) for integrated functioning and goal alignment. Collect field insights for product roadmap improvements.
- Performance Metrics: Develop metrics to assess efficiency, quality, and productivity; report on performance and track key indicators such as downtime, resolution times, and financial metrics like ROIC/ROI through optimizations.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance. Address potential supply chain disruptions and uphold safety protocols.
- Innovation Encouragement: Promote a culture of innovation by supporting ideas that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Financial Optimization: Enhance field operations for ROIC, ROI, and gross margin through effective deployments, predictive maintenance, and supplier negotiations.
- Customer Engagement: Ensure adherence to SLAs (e.g., prompt responses) and identify upsell opportunities. Scale Customer Support for inquiries and self-service via portals/APIs, leveraging AI for improved efficiency.
