Join Western Digital as an Early Career Talent in the Field Applications Engineering team located in San Jose, CA. As a recent college graduate, you will collaborate with our account teams to support key customers and engage with a seasoned group of storage specialists. Your role will involve managing qualification and sustaining activities, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries and provide solutions to product-related issues.
- Maintain trackers for qualification and sustaining challenges.
- Work alongside customers to create qualification plans for new products.
- Monitor and report qualification metrics and project deliverables.
- Facilitate regular meetings with customers to discuss qualification progress and initiatives.
- Conduct hands-on first-level failure analysis to troubleshoot customer problems.
- Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide timely responses to customers.
- Assist in communicating customer requirements to internal teams and coordinate necessary deliverables.
- Act as a voice for customer needs and priorities within the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid engineering foundation and a keen interest in customer-facing roles. Skills in data analytics, project management, and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this collaborative environment.
