In alignment with the NMH framework for practice, the Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for delivering and coordinating evidence-based, clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients. This includes diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse operates within the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing, and the Code of Ethics, and actively collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care, achieve exceptional outcomes, and optimize unit operations.
