We are in search of a seasoned and empathetic Litigation Attorney to take charge of impactful personal injury cases from initiation to resolution. This role offers the chance to manage intricate, high-stakes cases, collaborate with leading attorneys in the field, and effect meaningful change in the lives of those we represent.
Key Responsibilities
As a Litigation Attorney, you will oversee personal injury litigation cases from inception to settlement. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Managing a substantial caseload and all stages of personal injury litigation.
- Conducting in-depth case investigations to ascertain liability and damages.
- Preparing and submitting essential legal documents for litigation, including handling discovery disputes and opposing motions for summary judgment.
- Negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Delivering exceptional client service and maintaining transparent communication regarding case progress.
- Acting as First Chair during Civil Jury Trials.
Requirements
Licensed attorney in good standing to practice in the state of California.
- Minimum of 7 years of personal injury experience with a strong focus on trial work.
- Demonstrated first chair trial experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures relevant to personal injury cases.
- Strong research and analytical abilities with proficiency in interpreting and applying legal precedents, statutes, and regulations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Proven success in case management and client representation with an emphasis on achieving favorable outcomes.
- Experience in conducting legal research, drafting legal briefs, and providing sound legal advice to clients.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, coordinating with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple cases and adhering to deadlines.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
