The Team You Will Work With:
Within the Office of Federal Affairs, you will play a vital role in coordinating interactions between the City and the Federal administration and Congress. This office keeps the Mayor and city agencies abreast of crucial issues impacting the City and advocates for its interests, serving as the liaison with other cities on federal matters.
Your Responsibilities:
As an Executive Assistant, your key tasks will include keeping the Mayor and City agencies informed about significant issues, facilitating communication between elected officials' offices and federal agencies, and assisting with meeting preparations.
About You:
- You have the ability to efficiently schedule meetings for FLA staff.
- You are proficient in data entry and management using databases and Excel.
- You can review and track legislation effectively.
- You are capable of facilitating interactions promptly between various governmental offices.
- You assist FLA staff in preparing for meetings and engagements.
