Work Schedule: Standard business hours based on local time zone, Monday – Friday. Schedules may vary depending on managerial direction.
Travel Requirements: Occasional quarterly travel may be necessary for broker events, regional or state partner engagement, and visits to joint venture offices as business needs arise.
Location Requirements: Candidates must reside in the United States, specifically in either Illinois or Missouri.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and customer-oriented Escrow Assistant to provide crucial support to our Escrow Officer in facilitating real estate transactions from start to finish. The successful candidate will manage document coordination, maintain clear communication with all involved parties, and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely closings.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate, process, and assist in closing escrow transactions.
Collect, review, and organize transaction documents efficiently.
Facilitate coordination among buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and review escrow instructions, settlement statements, and closing documents meticulously.
Order title, lien, HOA, and survey reports as required.
Coordinate notarization and signing appointments effectively.
Deliver professional communication and proactive follow-up with all parties.
Verify wire instructions and maintain accurate transaction files.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
