The GEK TERNA Group is seeking an:
Environmental and Energy Management Engineer
for a concession project located in Thessaloniki.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with environmental terms of the Concession Agreement, project specifications, and environmental protection legislation.
- Draft environmental management reports for the project and submit them to the relevant authorities.
- Implement Environmental Management Systems and Energy Management Systems throughout the construction, operation, and exploitation phases of the project.
- Coordinate processes required for environmental licensing and any necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with the company’s subcontractors on all environment-related matters.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Manual (QM) to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS, proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare, review, process, verify, archive, and distribute the Quality Manual, Procedures, and other quality documentation.
- Monitor potential revisions and controlled distribution of quality documents.
- Draft the quality policy and set objectives for successful quality requirements implementation.
- Conduct inspections in collaboration with Internal Auditors.
- Manage and review results from internal/external Quality Audits.
- Evaluate audit findings and decide on necessary corrective actions.
- Record and update stakeholders regarding audit reports.
- Prepare monthly reports for management on quality activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering, with a specialization in environmental aspects of highway construction.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (not mandatory).
- Excellent command of English (both spoken and written).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
