The Entry-Level Process Engineer plays a crucial role in the design and engineering of manufacturing facilities and equipment, focusing on supporting facility infrastructure and essential utility systems. Key responsibilities include conducting engineering calculations such as heat transfer and pressure drop evaluations. This position entails documenting the process design scope in collaboration with various disciplines and may involve assisting field installation teams and performing construction site observations. The ideal candidate will engage closely with architects, engineers, and designers, as well as internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible, and comprehensive design.
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate on documenting the process design scope in alignment with other disciplines.
Engage with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure cohesive and complete design outputs.
Conduct regular self-checks and communicate frequently with supervisors and peers.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks.
Address complex challenges under the guidance of a mentor or supervisor.
Participate in all design phases including studies, conceptual designs, design development, documentation, and construction administration.
This role is designed for candidates who are ready to tackle basic complexity in a support capacity under the direction of seasoned Process Engineers.
