About the Role:
As a key member of the Confluent Sales Team, you will serve as an Enterprise Account Executive, focusing on delivering our solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. We expect you to leverage your skills in prospecting, sales, negotiation, and leadership to effectively promote Confluent offerings, aiming to exceed your sales targets each quarter. A proactive 'hunter/closer' mentality and a solid track record in a value-driven sales environment are essential.
What You Will Do:
Drive revenue growth across large, complex territories.
Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a robust sales pipeline.
Lead the development and presentation of compelling value propositions.
Understand and effectively engage with the partner ecosystem.
Collaborate with Solutions Engineers & Professional Services to ensure customer success.
Manage the entire sales process, working closely with business development, customer success, and support teams.
Become an expert on all Confluent solutions and the competitive landscape.
Present to C-level executives to negotiate and finalize deals.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to identify growth opportunities.
Travel to customer locations as needed to assess and develop sales opportunities.
What You Will Bring:
A minimum of 5 years in quota-carrying sales roles within a competitive market.
Experience in Big Data, Consumption, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
Demonstrated success in a value-driven sales model.
