The Systems Development Division (SDD) is seeking an Engineering Operations Lead to leverage your diverse skills and experiences to promote growth, maturation, and execution across the Division as we navigate the transition of technological research and capabilities to formal acquisition programs. In this dynamic role, you may spearhead or assist in a myriad of activities, including engineering execution, process development, quality assurance, vendor management, Division business operations, and program management. You will be expected to adapt across a range of responsibilities and collaborate with various stakeholders within the broader STR enterprise to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Portfolio Chief Engineers to ensure the technical integrity and engineering excellence of projects.
- Assume the role of Engineering Technical Lead or Program Manager as needed.
- Establish a Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to the programs STR supports, with the vision of applying it at the enterprise level.
- Represent the Division in Enterprise-level meetings concerning Division Business operations.
- Identify and nurture strategic relationships with external partners (e.g., contract manufacturers) to enhance STR capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to collaborate on intricate issues to achieve favorable outcomes among diverse stakeholders. The successful individual will showcase expertise in project and team leadership, relationship building, staff mentorship, peer leadership, and technical proficiency.
