About the Role:
We are on the lookout for an outstanding Engineering Manager to join our Employer Experience team. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will lead our client-facing web and backend development teams. This role requires close collaboration with our talented product and design teams to drive the development of both client-facing and internal applications in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment:
This position is based in our New York City office, requiring in-office attendance three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and lead the development of new features aligned with Garner's strategic goals.
- Foster a high-performance team culture through mentorship, constructive feedback, and strategic hiring.
- Pursue quality relentlessly while ensuring timely delivery.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by identifying bottlenecks and risks, proposing solutions, and communicating trade-offs.
