Role Overview
In this role, you will engage in various projects, which may include:
- Crafting complex energy engineering problems that reflect real-world practice;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and constraints;
- Validating calculations or simulations using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Enhancing AI reasoning to align with industry standards;
- Implementing structured scoring criteria for multi-faceted problems.
Candidate Profile
This position is ideal for energy engineers with Python expertise who are open to part-time, non-permanent engagements. The preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Energy Engineering or a related field, such as Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or Electronics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy engineering;
- Proficient written English (C1/C2 level);
- Strong Python skills for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Holding professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EMP, CEM) and having experience with international or applied projects would be advantageous.

Project Commitment
This role typically requires an estimated commitment of 10-20 hours per week during active project phases, based on project requirements. Please note that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
- Compensated contributions with rates of up to $50/hour*;
- Fixed project rates or individual rates based on project specifics;
- Some projects may offer additional incentive payments.

Higher rates may be available for highly specialized professionals, while lower rates may apply during the onboarding or non-core phases of projects.
