Project Overview:
Each project encompasses distinct tasks, and contributors may be involved in:
- Creating complex energy engineering challenges that mirror real-world applications;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and limitations;
- Validating computations or simulations utilizing Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhancing AI logic to conform to industry standards;
- Implementing structured scoring to multi-step problems.
Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for energy engineers proficient in Python who are interested in flexible, non-permanent engagements. Preferred candidates will possess:
- A degree in Energy Engineering or related fields such as Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Electronics, etc.;
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in energy engineering;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2);
- Strong Python capabilities for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EMP, CEM) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.

During active phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week, based on project demands. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation:
Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution speed. Note that compensation varies between projects based on scope and complexity, and different projects may offer different earning levels.
