Role Overview
The Encryption Engineering team is responsible for developing the foundational systems that enable secure self-custody wallet generation and seamless crypto operations. In a rapidly evolving digital asset environment, we prioritize security by designing and scaling backend services that integrate with state-of-the-art cryptocurrency SDKs, mastering the intricacies of emerging blockchain networks, and crafting key management solutions that drive the next wave of innovation in the crypto space.
Note: This position requires the flexibility to work on-site in Austin approximately one day per week.
Your Responsibilities
- Build & Scale Backend Systems: Architect and deliver backend services that integrate flawlessly with the latest cryptocurrency SDKs.
- Dive Deep Into Networks: Analyze and comprehend novel blockchain networks—from payloads and contract calls to consensus mechanisms.
- Novel Key Management: Design and implement key generation and signing mechanisms within our infrastructure to support new protocols.
- Automate Relentlessly: Develop fault-tolerant systems, then diligently automate workflows to minimize manual tasks as use cases evolve.
- Harden Every Layer: Collaborate with internal and external security experts to enhance our systems' resilience.
