THE ROLE
As an Emergency Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team from day one. You will provide essential support to your colleagues, offer comfort to pet parents, and learn hands-on in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from triaging patients to delivering treatments, participating in patient care from the exam room to the treatment area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a warm welcome to incoming patients and assist in triaging them for care.
- Support treatment and nursing care, including bloodwork, imaging, catheter placement, and oxygen support.
- Collaborate with credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinarians to prepare and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases.
- Manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration.
- Engage in patient rounds to ensure continuity of care.
- Learn CPR techniques and become a RECOVER Certified Rescuer (training provided).
- Advance into more complex responsibilities as your skills develop.
