The Role
As an Emergency Veterinarian, your passion for helping pets and their families drives you to excel, especially in moments of urgency. At VEG, we are dedicated to supporting you in becoming the most skilled and confident ER professional possible. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of emergencies, from routine cases to complex surgeries, and caring for a variety of pets, including exotics. Your Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultations over the phone.
- Immediately attend to patients as part of our unique VEG Triage and VEG Spikes, ensuring prompt medical attention and allowing families to remain with their pets.
- Collect patient signalment, presenting complaints, vital signs, and conduct thorough physical examinations.
- Perform necessary diagnostic measures, including ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for each patient's needs.
