SEAKR Engineering is on the lookout for a skilled Electronics Cable Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will take the lead in creating high-quality cable assemblies for SEAKR hardware, adhering strictly to IPC standards. Your primary responsibilities will include crimping and soldering wires into back shells to produce cables utilized in the testing of flight hardware. As a vital member of our team, you may also be tasked with additional soldering and manufacturing responsibilities as directed by your supervisor. A strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and travelers is essential, alongside experience in cable assembly.
The Electronics Cable Assembler plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality fabrication of SEAKR support hardware and cables. This is a full-time, non-exempt position where you will work under general supervision from the Manufacturing Supervisor, with performance evaluated based on the results you achieve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform crimping and soldering of cable contacts in line with IPC standards.
- Cut and bundle wires according to technical drawings.
- Read and interpret schematic and cable drawings effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on assemblies before handing them over to Quality Assurance.
- Communicate manufacturing concerns efficiently with engineering.
- Stay updated on manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of SEAKR rules and regulations.
- Ensure that all assigned manufacturing equipment is kept in optimal condition.
