We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Electrical Technical Office Engineer to facilitate the effective implementation of construction and engineering projects. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between the design team, project managers, site engineers, and contractors. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of technical, administrative, and coordination duties, with a strong emphasis on documentation, quantity management, and quality assurance.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Documentation
- Develop, review, and manage shop drawings, as-built drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and various technical documents.
- Collaborate with design teams to guarantee the precision and timely updates of all documentation.
Project Coordination
- Work alongside site engineers, consultants, and contractors to address technical challenges.
- Support the planning and scheduling for procurement and material submissions.
Cost & Quantity Management
- Generate quantity take-offs and assist in budget estimations.
- Oversee material usage to ensure compliance with project budgets.
Submittals and Approvals
- Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, and technical inquiries.
- Monitor consultant/client approvals and follow up on outstanding submissions.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant standards, specifications, and regulations.
- Assist in quality assurance by reviewing deliverables and verifying technical documentation.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain organized logs for drawings, materials, submittals, and project correspondence.
- Produce progress reports and technical updates for internal teams and clients.
