In this position, you will collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to create electrical system designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for a wide array of building types. Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Design & Engineering: Create electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and telecommunications.
- Conduct load calculations for generators, transformers, switchgear, panel boards, VFDs, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Produce design drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
- Research and apply industry standards and best practices.
- Assist in building condition assessments and system evaluations.
Collaboration & Project Support:
- Engage with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as architects.
- Support senior engineers in multi-disciplinary project coordination.
- Communicate with clients, manufacturers, and contractors to resolve project challenges and devise solutions.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights.
Technical Growth & Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and emerging technologies.
- Receive mentorship from senior engineers and take on increasing project responsibilities.
- Assist in project management efforts and contribute to proposal development as needed.
