We are currently hiring English Language Teachers for a fixed-term summer contract.
The Role: As an EFL Teacher at ALPADIA, you will play a crucial role in fostering both personal and academic growth among students in a vibrant, multicultural camp setting. Key Responsibilities
Teaching
- Ensure that all language instruction is suitable for a camp setting and aligns with the ALPADIA curriculum.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the English language and its linguistic frameworks, providing appropriate models for both spoken and written English.
- Tailor lesson content to consider course objectives, student learning needs, and their cultural backgrounds.
- Clearly communicate learning outcomes for each lesson and achieve them through a well-structured sequence of activities.
- Proactively adapt the syllabus to meet the unique needs of our students, both collectively and individually.
- Utilize a diverse range of teaching techniques, activities, and task types to motivate and cater to various learning styles.
- Provide opportunities for differentiation to accommodate different learner needs.
- Effectively use ALPADIA teaching resources to support learning outcomes and maximize student engagement.
- Create a positive learning atmosphere and keep students engaged throughout lessons.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback on students’ performance during lessons.
- Incorporate authentic resources and real-world examples into lessons as appropriate.
- Manage the classroom environment and resources effectively to promote learning.
- Maintain appropriate levels of student discipline, safety, and welfare, reporting any issues to the Camp Manager.
