Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete sales cycle: identify potential EDU partnership opportunities, engage in product demonstrations, and negotiate strategically with clients.
- Drive the acquisition and growth of higher education accounts, consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Gain a deep understanding of our platform's technical aspects to effectively position Thunkable and communicate its capabilities.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and post-sales teams, including Solutions Engineers and Creator Success teams.
- Assist in developing scalable and repeatable sales processes.
- Be a proactive contributor; we seek passionate individuals eager to help build Thunkable and advance their own careers with a groundbreaking platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Account Executive with a track record of closing deals, specifically in SaaS/PaaS environments.
- Strong background in selling digital curricula and platforms, particularly to educational institutions, is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of budgeting cycles and mechanisms within educational institutions, including knowledge of funding sources like Perkins Grants.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead development, managing intricate sales cycles, and closing deals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication skills to understand and capture client requirements effectively.
- Strong business insight with experience managing multiple client relationships, adapting to changes, and setting priorities accordingly.
