Key Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing relationships with hedgers, converting them into engaged trading participants on the ElectronX exchange. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this hands-on position is designed for a results-driven seller who excels in achieving measurable outcomes—building pipelines, securing accounts, driving activation, and increasing traded volume. You will collaborate closely with Product, Operations/Onboarding, and leadership to align customer needs with precise market positioning and an efficient go-to-market strategy.
Origination and Commercial Execution
- Develop and strengthen relationships with U.S. power market participants, focusing on hedgers such as utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), retail suppliers, large commercial and industrial organizations, and power marketing firms.
- Manage the entire commercial process from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closing, onboarding, and activation.
- Establish and maintain a structured pipeline management process, including outreach, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and conversion tracking.
- Facilitate swift onboarding by coordinating with internal teams to minimize obstacles and expedite trading initiation.
- Track and report progress across key metrics related to pipeline, onboarding, and activation.
Account Ownership and Volume Growth
- Drive measurable results directly related to liquidity and trading volume on the ElectronX platform.
- Engage in ongoing relationship management to ensure sustained trading activity and volume growth.
