Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a driven Account Executive who will spearhead new revenue by promoting our cutting-edge AI software to manufacturing organizations. This is a proactive sales role, focused on generating new business rather than maintaining existing accounts.
You will manage the entire sales cycle—from initial outreach and meetings to closing deals—selling a technically advanced AI platform to factories. Success in this position requires hands-on experience in selling solutions to manufacturing plants, comfort with both technical and consultative sales approaches, and the ability to execute a digital-first outbound strategy (including cold calling, sequencing, and territory planning), while also engaging confidently on the plant floor as necessary.
This role is perfect for a sales professional with a track record of selling software or software-driven solutions in manufacturing environments, who thrives in a startup atmosphere, and is motivated to build a sales pipeline from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Net-New Pipeline Generation (Hunter Focus)
- Proactively generate a sales pipeline through cold outreach, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn-based sequencing.
- Develop and implement a territory plan targeting manufacturing plants and multi-site manufacturers that align with Maneva’s ideal customer profile (ICP).
- Utilize tools such as Apollo, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to execute disciplined and repeatable outbound campaigns.
- Maintain a high level of daily outbound activity and consistently create new opportunities without relying on inbound leads.
Manufacturing & Technical Sales Execution
- Engage directly with stakeholders in manufacturing, including engineering, operations, plant leadership, quality assurance, and IT.
- Conduct discovery conversations that reveal real operational challenges on the factory floor.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business and ROI-driven value propositions.
- Confidently discuss AI, vision systems, data, and operational workflows with technical decision-makers.
Full-Cycle Deal Ownership
- Take ownership of the sales process from start to finish: prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, business case development, negotiation, and closing.
