As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will steer our Rail & Systems Practice with an emphasis on successful project delivery, resource management, business development, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Direction
- Utilize insights from clients and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks that can enhance AECOM’s capabilities in systems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and clients to adapt to evolving transport needs, contributing to the development of new capabilities aligned with our strategic vision.
- Support existing strategic initiatives in Systems and identify new projects that drive AECOM’s growth.
Safety Leadership
- Champion a robust safety culture within your team and across projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and reporting standards.
- Lead safety initiatives and participate in safety training, affirming commitment to the health, safety, and wellbeing of all personnel.
- Demonstrate exemplary safety leadership, prioritizing safety in every aspect of project execution.
Financial & Operational Leadership:
- P&L Management: Assume full accountability for the financial health of the sub-business line, focusing on revenue growth, margin enhancement, and overhead management.
- Utilisation: Actively manage the billable hours of your staff to achieve or surpass regional targets, ensuring a balanced approach between project work and professional development.
- Offshore Integration (EC): Advocate for our Global Enterprise Capability (EC) teams. You will implement strategies to transition delivery work to our offshore hubs, assuring cost-effectiveness and continuous delivery excellence.
Project Delivery & Business Development
- Winning Work: Lead the pursuit and acquisition of new business opportunities, particularly focusing on contracts valued up to $5m. Foster client relationships in partnership with regional colleagues.
- Identify and cultivate a sustainable pipeline of opportunities to ensure continuous growth.
