We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the role of Director of Global Compensation at Transat. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Compensation, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and advancing our compensation strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, optimizing, and administering compensation programs that align with our organization's strategic goals. As a leader, you will provide support to HR teams, managers, and executives in interpreting, applying, and enhancing our compensation policies and programs.
- Lead the design, evolution, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and processes including direct and incentive compensation, commission programs, HR policies, and other compensation components.
- Serve as a key leader for managers, HR teams, and internal partners on all compensation-related queries, including resolving complex issues.
- Oversee the team responsible for executing annual cycles (salary reviews, bonus payments, incentive programs), including accompanying analyses, recommendations, and associated communications, as well as job evaluation processes and market analyses.
- Act as a leader for a job architecture review project, focusing on evaluation processes and salary structure.
- Develop communication strategies and proactively promote compensation programs to employees and managers.
- Supervise the team in specialized analyses to support strategic decision-making regarding compensation, including collective agreement renewals.
- Lead and ensure the completion of pay equity projects at both provincial and federal levels.
- Participate in any other cross-functional projects related to compensation and strategic HR initiatives.
