About the job
About The Role:
At Parker, our mission is both simple and ambitious: to empower individuals towards financial independence. We believe the key to achieving this is by equipping independent business owners with the essential financial tools necessary for profitable scaling.
Our flagship product merges a virtual corporate card with adaptive spending limits and software tools focused on profitability, enabling eCommerce merchants to accelerate growth while maintaining control over their margins.
Having secured over $180M in equity and debt from prominent investors such as Valar Ventures, Y Combinator, and SVB, alongside notable founders like Solomon Hykes (Docker) and Paul Graham (Y Combinator), we are a rapidly scaling Series B fintech with a strong product-market fit and increasing demand.
We are currently seeking a Director of eCommerce Partnerships to spearhead the next phase of our growth. In this pivotal role, you will forge and expand high-impact partnerships throughout the eCommerce landscape—including platforms, agencies, and technology providers—to generate qualified leads, co-marketing ventures, and revenue streams. Your goal: transform strategic partnerships into pipelines that drive Parker's expansion.
What You Will Do:
Lead Generation Partnerships: Establish collaborations with eCommerce platforms, agencies, and service providers to create a consistent influx of qualified client referrals.
Revenue Alignment: Craft co-selling strategies with partners, ensuring each collaboration directly bolsters our new business pipeline and annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth.
Co-Marketing Initiatives: Launch joint marketing campaigns (events, webinars, content collaborations, referrals) with partners to enhance brand awareness and increase client demand.
Pipeline Oversight: Own and track partner-sourced pipeline metrics, ensuring lead generation targets are consistently met or surpassed.
Account Mapping: Work closely with Sales to align on target accounts and execute partner-led introductions to influential decision-makers.
Ecosystem Insight: Cultivate a thorough understanding of the eCommerce/DTC ecosystem, identifying opportunities for expansion and relaying insights back to the team.
What We Seek:
Experience: A proven track record of 4–7+ years in partnerships, channel sales, or business development within the eCommerce sector.
Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a knack for strategic thinking and problem-solving.
Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the eCommerce landscape, including key players, trends, and technologies.
