Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify immediate FY26 opportunities with a clear path to award.
- Transform existing relationships into booked subcontract revenue.
- Facilitate introductions to funded program offices where you have direct access.
- Develop a robust and defensible pipeline through thorough questioning.
- Effectively communicate Viderity’s unique value proposition.
What You'll Achieve
- Develop and implement a focused business development plan aligned with revenue targets.
- Create new opportunities while managing pipeline stages and conducting gate analyses.
- Secure subcontracting roles on awarded contracts within your network.
- Conduct competitive evaluations and SWAT analyses.
- Oversee the entire business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to proposal and post-award transition.
- Contribute to solution shaping and pricing strategy discussions.
- Represent Viderity at industry conferences and meetings with a focus on opportunity creation.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in federal business development.
- A proven record of personally attributable wins.
- Established relationships at both program and contracting levels.
- A history of securing subcontract roles on active contracts.
- Ability to assess win probability based on real access and positioning.
- An understanding of acquisition trends and competitive dynamics.
- Experience in digital services, modernization, technology implementation, or data-driven initiatives. Security clearance is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
- 5+ years of experience supporting a small business (HUBZone/WOSB preferred).
- A results-driven mindset focused on revenue generation.
- Resilience and attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, adaptable environment.
- Local candidates from the DC Metro area are preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed for networking and conferences.
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $270,000, including commission, based on qualifications and experience.
