Position Overview:
We are in search of a Life Sciences Business Development Director who possesses expertise in selling SaaS solutions at the commercial brand level within the pharmaceutical industry. This pivotal role involves crafting and implementing strategic account plans aimed at acquiring new accounts and enhancing RxVantage’s market presence among designated target customers and portfolios.
We require a sharp and resourceful Business Development expert to propel our growth and establish RxVantage as a vital strategic partner for life sciences organizations. Our ideal candidate will have a robust background in collaborating with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, along with extensive networks across crucial commercial sectors (such as sales, marketing, market access, digital, and analytics teams). The right individual will make an immediate impact by leveraging their connections in a structured, rapid, and effective manner. Comfort in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a startup is essential, along with a commitment to investing time and effort into driving mutual success for both themselves and RxVantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of RxVantage enterprise services to a portfolio of up to 30 life sciences companies.
- Identify and propose growth opportunities within both prospective and existing client bases.
- Strategically target key stakeholders and decision-makers across various functions, mobilizing resources for implementation.
- Manage sales goals and deliver accurate sales forecasts while actively cultivating a sales pipeline with a clear closure path for all opportunities.
- Ensure that both potential and current life sciences clients recognize RxVantage's strategic value, fostering relationships as strategic partnerships.
- Serve as an internal coach and mentor, providing direction, guidance, and continuous feedback related to individual and team performance.
- Collaborate with the Life Sciences Customer Success team to uncover growth opportunities within current clients and ensure a remarkable end-to-end client experience.
