Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Drive the creation and execution of a proactive strategy for facilities management, incorporating a comprehensive physical asset management plan that identifies long-term cost-saving opportunities and aligns with EXD/CSI strategic goals.
- Ensure facilities management practices reflect a commitment to environmental sustainability, consistent with the Organisation’s overarching sustainability initiatives, while taking into consideration available resources.
- Transform EXD/CSI strategic goals into divisional priorities with corresponding key performance indicators (KPIs) that focus on service quality, risk management, and value for money in the delivery of EXD/CSI/BID services.
- Design and implement a forward-thinking strategy for outsourced maintenance and facilities services necessary for building upkeep, ensuring seamless service integration and operational resilience.
- Lead staff through change management initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while adapting services and operational models as necessary.
- Finalize and execute a digital strategy for site and asset management that facilitates evidence-based decision-making and enhances operational efficiency in a budget-constrained environment.
- Assist the EXD/CSI Head of Service in strategic interactions with Member countries by preparing and presenting financial and operational analyses related to the building portfolio, including long-term capital investment requirements and medium-term planning needs.
Operational Management for Results
- Guarantee the functionality of OECD office spaces by harmonizing people, place, process, and technology in their design.
- Continuously establish and update a service catalogue and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for services rendered to clients.
- Contribute to the strategic development of a billing framework that ensures fair, transparent, and comprehensive cost recovery in accordance with the cost recovery mechanisms established by the Organisation’s Members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in alignment with host country regulations.
- Participate in crisis management, business continuity, and emergency response planning to support organizational resilience.
- Engage in all divisional horizontal activities.
Management, Collaboration, and Teamwork
- Support the EXD/CSI Head of Service in cultivating a cohesive, high-performing, multicultural, and multidisciplinary team, championing excellence, inclusion, and diversity through effective workforce collaboration.
