What You’ll Do
Become an integral part of a transformative brand poised to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck and rugged SUV market through the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Scout team to identify suitable suppliers for parts and services, including participating in pre-sourcing audits to ensure new supplier acceptability.
- Establish a sourcing strategy and long-term business plan for assigned commodities and product groups, leading the sourcing process up to and including contract awards for Interior commodity purchasing, specifically high-value plastic assemblies, ensuring material cost and tooling targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Present the sourcing strategy in a multi-level sourcing committee environment.
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and nomination agreements.
- Act as the program manager during the pre-production phase, ensuring that all industrialization at suppliers meets project requirements concerning timing, cost, and quality.
- Evaluate and implement technical changes to parts/services, ensuring that cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met.
