The Designated General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of all assigned locations within a district, ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all hourly restaurant team members to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Drive annual financial goals, local marketing initiatives, and guest service excellence.
- Oversee restaurant operations with a strong focus on guest interaction, food quality, and adherence to service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent according to the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and operational guidelines.
- Manage employee turnover and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Provide continuous coaching and manage the restaurant’s compensation plan.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
- Guarantee food quality meets SOP standards in specification, recipe adherence, plating, and garnishing.
- Monitor service metrics to ensure timely ticket fulfillment in line with guest expectations.
- Implement national and local marketing campaigns, utilizing appropriate Point of Purchase (POP) materials, posters, and placements.
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the business unit, performing supervisory functions in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning and assigning tasks, appraising performance, coaching, and responding to guest feedback.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, with two to four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
