Why This Role Matters
As we expand our Avionics Team within the global Spacecraft Engineering Department, we are seeking a DFM Electronics Engineer. In this critical role, you will ensure that our satellite electronics are not only high-performing but also durable, reproducible, and scalable for mass production.
Your contributions will bridge design, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain efforts, transforming advanced electronics concepts into reliable hardware that excels in orbit. This position presents a remarkable opportunity to influence hardware quality from the initial design phase all the way through production and operational deployment in space.
Role Responsibilities
As a DFM Electronics Engineer focusing on Avionics, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design and development of high-reliability mixed-signal electronics with an emphasis on manufacturability, testability, and scalability.
- Independently conducting electronics design and testing.
- Reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs to ensure compliance with manufacturing, assembly, and inspection standards.
- Applying DfM, DfT, and DfA principles to electronic hardware.
- Possessing knowledge of PCB manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
- Utilizing hands-on experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting in both lab and production environments.
