Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the transformation of a large U.S. health agency's contact centers, enhancing 24/7 virtual access to high-quality care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in documenting future-state structures, governance elements, reporting lines, and decision-making processes.
The consultant will engage in core organizational design activities by gathering inputs, refining role definitions, and clarifying responsibilities and ownership within the new organizational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting current, transitional, and future-state technology strategies, ensuring project plans, roles-and-responsibilities matrices, and governance materials are up to date while escalating gaps or issues for leadership review.
- Track and synthesize insights from technology strategy activities, developing both high-level executive and detailed tactical project plans.
- Prepare concise summaries, status updates, and materials for VA executive client leadership and project teams.
- Synthesize technology strategy and deployment decisions, identifying open questions and areas of misalignment, escalating unresolved concerns to project leads for guidance.
- Ensure alignment between technology deployment strategy efforts and related technology/workforce initiatives by tracking dependencies, documenting integration requirements, and flagging risks or inconsistencies to workstream leads.
- Track progress against key milestones, maintain logs of deliverables and performance indicators, and escalate any delays, blockers, or emerging risks to project leadership.
- Coordinate and document cross-workstream interactions to ensure technological integration.
