About the Role
As a Department Supervisor at H&M, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and achieving profit targets by implementing strategies that ensure the Best Customer Experience within your department and throughout the store. You will adhere to legal requirements and H&M's standards, policies, and procedures to meet customer and colleague expectations.
A Day in the Life
At H&M, no two days are alike, but your responsibilities will typically include:
Customer Sales & Profit
- Enhancing the total OMNI customer experience in-store while ensuring visual and commercial presentation aligns with global guidelines.
- Positively representing yourself and the H&M brand during customer interactions.
- Identifying your department's strengths and opportunities in collaboration with your Department Manager.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service across all store areas while empowering your team to actively promote and sell products.
- Driving awareness of our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and sustainability initiatives.
- Overseeing fitting room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Managing administrative tasks for both personnel and operations accurately.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Staying informed about current fashion trends, styles, brands, and influencers.
- Equipping your team to share product and fashion knowledge effectively with customers.
Team & Development
- Sharing your expertise and supporting the store team’s growth.
- Collaborating with the Visual Merchandiser team for effective planning and teamwork.
- Engaging in feedback exchanges with colleagues to foster learning and development.
- Maintaining regular communication with store colleagues to motivate and inspire through daily and weekly meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with all procedures, routines, and legal requirements across the store.
Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial Execution
- Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom.
- Ensuring high standards for visual and commercial product presentation with proper garment care.
- Monitoring stock levels and providing feedback on inventory allocation to the Area team.
- Overseeing the entire garment cycle from delivery to presentation and fitting room operations.
