JOB GOAL:
The primary objective of this role is to enhance student understanding and application of essential concepts, skills, and behaviors, aiding in their development as responsible and capable members of society. The teacher will contribute to improving performance levels in line with state and national standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for future academic and career endeavors in a global society, with all progression on-track and timely for success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Integrate 21st Century Skills into lesson plans and activities.
- Fulfill a full duty day in assigned locations.
- Assess student abilities concerning educational goals and performance standards to maximize achievement.
- Design and implement a variety of instructional and learning strategies that align with student needs.
- Maintain a conducive learning environment by managing classroom behavior and contributing to site-wide behavior management.
- Communicate instructional expectations and student progress effectively to students and parents.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement and maintain documentation for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with program personnel to establish effective instructional objectives and curriculum.
- Engage in professional growth through meetings, in-service, and staff development activities as required.
- Document student progress accurately by maintaining and submitting necessary records and reports.
