Position Overview:
This pivotal role involves supporting and overseeing various aspects of our school’s operations that directly affect instructional quality. The Dean of Academics with a STEM focus will monitor classroom instruction, manage assessment data, and drive curriculum development, as well as directly supervise all instructional staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the curriculum development and student assessment processes, both internal and external.
- Facilitate professional development for all educational staff.
- Supervise the daily instructional activities of teachers.
- Conduct regular teacher observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Head of School on student achievement, curriculum initiatives, staff evaluations, and budgetary requirements.
- Ensure the rigor of internal assessments by designing assessments before the school year begins.
