KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct proactive research and engage with target business owners through various channels such as cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and SMS to generate off-market deal flow.
Initiate conversations with business owners, clearly articulating our identity, the types of businesses we collaborate with, and the advantages of partnering with us.
Facilitate initial discovery meetings to collect essential information, assess compatibility, and outline subsequent steps for each opportunity.
Maintain and update our CRM with all outreach efforts, prospect details, and follow-up actions to ensure a steady progression of deals.
Collaborate closely with the Investments team to transition qualified opportunities and continue nurturing relationships with business owners.
Diligently follow up with prospects over time, fostering trust and rapport to sustain a robust pipeline.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or deal sourcing, with a strong preference for cold calling experience.
Confident and comfortable in making a high volume of outbound calls.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the capability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Hubspot) and tracking outreach activities.
Genuine interest in private equity, investing, or M&A, with a willingness to learn financial fundamentals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Experience with small business operations (family business, internships, etc.).
Familiarity with basic financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, tax returns) is advantageous.
