We are seeking a skilled and passionate HR Manager to lead our Distribution Center (DC) HR team, fostering a high-performance and inclusive work culture. You will be instrumental in driving our people strategy, supporting our leadership team, and ensuring a robust employee lifecycle that effectively attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Direct the HR team by establishing clear objectives, managing workload distribution, and overseeing the DC HR budget to align with regional frameworks.
- Craft and implement the DC people strategy, focusing on team development and capability enhancement throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies and practices with regional business objectives.
People Management & Team Development
- Work closely with the DC management team to coach and develop their teams, ensuring a high-performing workforce.
- Enhance employee engagement and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Facilitate continuous growth by aligning development, career advancement, and succession planning with organizational goals.
Workforce Strategy & Planning
- Improve onboarding experiences and partner with leaders to design training programs, ensuring operational readiness and seamless integration of new hires.
- Develop and implement strategic workforce plans for recruitment, succession, and talent development.
Specialized Operations & Administration
- Manage relationships with unions and work councils, including negotiations on local agreements, scheduling, contract structures, and compensation and benefits.
- Lead change management initiatives and assist leaders in navigating organizational changes through effective communication.
Performance Analysis & Decision Support
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform data-driven decision-making and assess program effectiveness.
Compliance, Risk & Governance
- Oversee employee relations within the DC, providing comprehensive guidance to leaders and team members to ensure compliance with local labor laws, collective agreements, and H&M standards.
Health, Safety & Sustainability
- Promote occupational health and safety in collaboration with functional managers, ensuring alignment with H&M Group’s commitment to Human Rights.
