Join Roku in Revolutionizing TV Viewing
Roku is the leading TV streaming platform in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with a vision to power every television globally. As pioneers in streaming technology, our mission is to build the most inclusive TV streaming platform that connects consumers with their favorite content, helps content publishers grow their audiences, and provides advertisers with unique tools to reach consumers effectively.
From your first day at Roku, you'll make a significant and appreciated impact. As a rapidly growing public company, every team member plays an essential role. You will have the opportunity to enhance the experience of millions of TV streamers while gaining valuable insights across diverse disciplines.
About Our Team
The Core Analytics Team is a vital component of Roku, focused on delivering data-driven insights to fuel our business and product strategies. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, we aim to provide outstanding experiences for our customers while optimizing our business value proposition.
About the Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Core Analytics team, specifically supporting our Customer Intelligence function, which is part of the broader Planning & Optimization team. In this role, you will tackle significant business questions posed by senior leaders, delivering clear, actionable insights. Your work in customer analytics will directly influence how Roku enhances engagement, retention, and monetization throughout our streaming ecosystem, with visibility to cross-functional leaders and ownership over critical inquiries.
This position transcends traditional analytics; it is designed to be “business-forward.” We are looking for a candidate who can translate customer behavior into quantitative metrics and compelling narratives that shape our customer strategies and measure the impact of various initiatives. You will be responsible for converting ambiguous stakeholder requests into robust analytical narratives and executive-ready presentations. Familiarity with causal inference and experimentation techniques is important; specialized expertise is a plus but not mandatory. This is a hybrid role requiring four days in the office (Monday through Thursday) based in NYC.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $152,000-$184,000.
