Role
As a Data Processing and Analyzing Associate, you will be responsible for analyzing, researching, and processing music metadata efficiently and accurately. Your efforts will convert raw data into actionable insights for our clients, enabling them to meet their royalty payment obligations to Networks, Producers, Performing Rights Organizations, and other Music Copyright entities.
Requirements
● Accurately enter and record music metadata from electronic sources into designated processing systems used for reporting royalty-related information.
● Validate processed data to ensure it meets or exceeds company accuracy standards.
● Identify and resolve routine and complex discrepancies in metadata input.
● Engage in quality assurance processes to detect and correct data-related challenges.
● Manage miscellaneous priority tasks associated with various metadata initiatives.
● Provide assistance and mentorship to fellow data processing staff as needed.
● Collaborate with management and team members to meet weekly or monthly deadlines.
● Maintain effective communication with supervisors and fellow team members.
● Offer support on additional company projects as required.
Qualifications
● GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a relevant certificate or diploma qualification.
● Strong proofreading skills.
● Proficient in utilizing shared Google Drives and communicating via email.
● Competent in Google Sheets and Docs with a solid understanding of internet research and computer fundamentals.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
