Join our dynamic Professional Services team at Databricks, where we are actively seeking skilled individuals for various roles. Depending on your experience and expertise, this position may be titled as Senior Solutions Consultant, Resident Solutions Architect, or Senior Resident Solutions Architect.
This role is commonly referred to as a Data & AI Solutions Architect, Analytics Architect, Data Platform Architect, or Technical Consultant. Your final title will reflect your level of experience, technical proficiency, and customer engagement responsibility.
As a Data & AI Solutions Architect (internally titled as Resident Solutions Architect), you will engage with clients on short to medium-term projects, tackling their big data challenges through the Databricks platform. Your responsibilities will include providing expertise in data engineering, data science, and cloud technologies, integrating with client systems, and delivering training and technical tasks to maximize client value from data. Our Solutions Architects are billable professionals who ensure project completion meets specifications while delivering exceptional customer service. You will report directly to the regional Manager/Lead.
Your Impact:
- Lead impactful technical projects for customers, which may involve designing and implementing reference architectures and productionalizing customer use cases.
- Collaborate with engagement managers to outline a range of professional services work based on customer input.
- Guide strategic customers through the implementation of transformational big data projects, including 3rd party migrations, with comprehensive design, build, and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications.
- Consult on architectural design and implementation, facilitating customer understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks solutions.
- Provide elevated support for customer operational challenges.
- Work closely with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, and Customer teams to ensure all technical components meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide product feedback and facilitate swift resolution of engagement-specific issues.
