YOUR ROLE AS A CULINARY ASSISTANT
In this role, you will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining high standards of quality in a bustling hotel kitchen. Your responsibilities will include managing orders and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards before acceptance.
You will uphold the highest standards in daily food preparations and stay informed about the latest products, recipes, and culinary techniques.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Supporting kitchen staff in daily food preparations
Upholding strict hygiene and safety protocols
Monitoring the quality and efficiency of kitchen processes
Ensuring adequate inventory at your workstation
Fostering a positive and flexible work atmosphere
Enhancing cooking processes with an emphasis on speed and quality

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols
Ability to independently manage your section from preparation to plating
A proactive attitude in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards
Natural leadership skills to mentor and guide junior team members
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in culinary arts
