In light of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and innovative CSA Construction Manager to join our well-established team in Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination of Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
- Lead and support the CSA team, including supervisors, engineers, and package managers, ensuring successful delivery of the CSA scope for fast-paced and technical projects.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Safety Team to uphold site safety standards.
- Foster a culture of quality, health & safety, and environmental responsibility within your team.
- Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation processes for all CSA works.
- Develop a project delivery strategy for CSA work, assisting the commercial team in creating ‘Scope of Work’ documents and sub-contract packages.
- Review client designs, identify discrepancies, and lead resolutions while safeguarding the company's commercial and contractual interests.
- Manage a detailed site plan for Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in partnership with our QA/QC team to ensure compliance.
- Oversee daily site operations, particularly focusing on contractor management concerning Health & Safety and QA/QC.
- Coordinate project schedules with the Project Planning team, Project Managers, and Sub-Contractors.
- Communicate with the design team and project design manager to prioritize and issue necessary construction information aligned with our schedule.
- Track sub-contractor activities and ensure resource levels are adequate to meet project timelines.
- Facilitate weekly progress meetings with each CSA supply chain member.
- Ensure all sub-contractor documentation is well-organized, current, and accessible for future reference.
- Participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, design and engineering reviews, planning meetings, and handover meetings.
- Oversee the close-out of all project items including Punch List, Safety File, QA File, and Project Plan.
- Employ strong problem-solving skills to address design and site challenges effectively.
- Provide daily and weekly updates to the project management team.
