A Typical Day:
No two days are identical, but your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care to ensure young people feel safe and supported
- Fostering positive relationships and encouraging healthy routines
- Assisting with meal preparation, educational support, and life skills development
- Advocating for their voices to ensure they feel valued and heard
- Supporting them in attending medical appointments and community activities
- Utilizing your own vehicle for transport when necessary
- Empowering them to transition confidently into their next life chapter
What We Seek:
Experience with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
A full UK driver’s license and your own vehicle
Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
A flexible schedule (availability for waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins as needed)
A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care) is preferred but not mandatory.

Attractive pay:
£17.50 - £24.00 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
£20.00 - £28.00 per hour Umbrella Rate
