About the Role:
We are seeking a Credit Risk Manager/Data Scientist to spearhead our credit risk and data science initiatives in Spain. This role will involve tailoring our product to the Spanish market, identifying and integrating new data sources, developing models and features, and tracking performance to establish a robust foundation for expansion.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing credit performance, data science, and reporting in Spain comprehensively.
Developing and overseeing our local decision-making model and its associated features.
Establishing and nurturing our API integrations and relationships with local data providers.
Collaborating closely with our local product, tech, underwriting, and operations teams to iteratively refine and create new features.
Understanding the balance between risk and growth, and leveraging the tools at our disposal to drive both.
Evaluating successful strategies from the UK and adapting them appropriately for the local Spanish market.
Monitoring and reporting key credit performance indicators and concentration metrics.
